Extended Validation Certificate for my online store

Today I have made the final improvement on my online store —- the Extended Validation Certificate.

Basically, not only transactions from my online store is encrypted and secure, all content, all images, referring links are now encrypted. Besides, my operating company has also been verified by Godaddy.com.

So now if you type www.tftoys.com.au in the web browser, you will a green address bar like this:

While compared with other websites:
Heraldsun looks like this:

Fishpond’s general page:

and Fishpond’s login page:

ANZ bank:

To have secure/green address bar for my store, I have to be verified by the Internet authority on domain ownership as well as operating company ownership. ASIC record was pulled and checked. My CPA was asked to sign an assessment letter. I wish this can boost some buyer confidence for my new store.

After-sales

After-sales for TFs is tricky, as a collector, you will require some level of patience and some basic DIY skills. Why? Because the issue will never be just the faulty toy in your hand right now, instead, you want to make sure that, hopefully, hundreds (if not thousands) of toys you already had as well as hundreds (if not thousands) of toys you are going to have in future will not bring headaches to you. Item faulty does happen, from 1 in every 20 in 3rd party toys for some brand to 1 in 200 in official ones.

Some of my own stories here:

Note for preorder

Preorder is a widely used method among transformer collectors around the world. Third party toy makers’ biggest spending is on preliminary design phrases. Once a design is passed, they will announce their product and pre-order information to the community, via their social network profiles or TF dealers. Preorder helps toy makers to estimate the market size, budget for production and pricing. Depending on which country you are located, preorder may be full amount upfront or deposit only.

Do I have to preorder?

Introducing dual-layer transformer faction insignia stickers

Hi,

I have imported some transformers faction stickers, like this:

It is A4 size, including many different types. The white area on the paper are white symbols can be used on dark/black toys. It also have transparent background and white background ones.

And this is dual layer stickers. Upper layer is what you use scissors to cut on and handle around. Lower layer is the actual symbol sticker what will reside on toys. Lower layer is already in perfect shape done by the factory.

Here are some what I tested on my own toys.

New to TF collection

This post is written for those who love Transformers (“TFs”), think about collecting but haven’t bought any for collection purpose before.

We collectors, regardless which country we are from, probably share similar stories. It ‘s like, watched Transformers in the 1980s, and eagerly waited for the gift/reward time from our parents so we can have the figure that has been in mind for months or maybe years. However, there were just so many figures and so few gifts. “One day I will buy them all!” was somehow imprinted in our brain and waiting for the time to reactivate…….

Until one day, “hey! I am a grown man, I have a job now, I have money, what have I been waiting for???”. Collector mode activated!
