We have news that the Transformers Studio Series core class wave 7 has been found at US retail. Fellow Seibertronian kurthy found this at a Target in Coralville, Iowa. The wave consists of:

2x Bumblebee (Dark of the Moon)
2x Terrorcon Novokane
2x Frenzy (1986)
2x Noah Diaz Exo-suit

At first, all Masterpiece Transformers figures look like magic. But then you see different angles and slowly you can see the compromises done to turn this into an actual physical figure. Well Rhinox looked like pure magic once again, so the big question was: how does the back look like? Well, not bad as it turns out. Walmart’s next output of G1 releases in cartoon decos will be a bit different than the previous ones. They will be in G1 style boxes rather than closed boxes and part of the 40th anniversary subline. We have images of a Blaster set and Soundwave set, thanks to JTPrime17. Blaster comes with 1 cassette while Soundwave comes with 2, to compensate for his much smaller stature. Takara has its big reveal day today, and that includes their next figures in Legacy, Beast Wars vs and the reveal of the new Dramatic Capture Series.

For Legacy, we have Silverbolt, which will be released as part of wave 2 in Legacy United. However, it is unclear if the deco we see is exclusive to Takara or if Hasbro’s release will be identical.

You can see the images below which look like pure magic once again (with lots of paneling as well). The 35,200 yen price puts him around the $230 mark, including taxes.
